Nepal will always be a special place for me because this was the last place I visited before getting married.
It was a last-minute decision to fly to Nepal as a consequence of my trip to Japan being cancelled because of the tsunami in 2011.
I will always remember Nepal as other-worldy and glorious in all its ancient temples and interesting old-world architecture.
What’s not to miss in Pokhara is the paragliding atop Mt. Sarangkot. There you can go paragliding on top of the beautiful Phewa Tal (Lake Phewa) or go cross-country and see a birds-eye view of the surrounding towns with rice terraces in the backdrop of the Annapurna Mountain Range.
If you go during the month of October, you will see clearly the reflections of the Annapurna on the clear waters of the lake.
